Say cheese!
Video meetings help us to stay in touch despite the physical distance between us (it’s more than 10,000 km from Arizona to Greece!). This is us on 2 December, 2025.
The project team’s first presentation took place in a “domestic” setting at the University of Graz. On 7 November 2025, we had the opportunity to present at the international conference “The Mediterranean between Fantasy and Reality – Contrasting Worlds?”. In our paper, we highlighted Arkadia’s mythical and real contacts across the Mediterranean. The conference papers are to be published.
The second presentation followed shortly after. Aaron represented the project team at the 9th edition of “Laetae segetes” at Brno, Czechia, on 20 November 2025, outlining the philological aspects of our work and discussing our approach to ancient literary sources.
